Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive / Team Lead – Sales to spearhead our business development efforts. This is a leadership role with both individual sales targets and team management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep B2B sales experience, a consultative selling approach, and a proven track record in leading sales teams within the professional services or consulting domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small team of Sales/Business Development Executives to meet organizational sales targets.
- Drive end-to-end sales strategy, from lead generation to deal closure, focusing on high-value consulting engagements.
- Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients and stakeholders.
- Identify market trends, new business opportunities, and potential sectors for expansion.
- Work closely with consulting and delivery teams to craft customized proposals and client solutions.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for the sales team; coach and mentor junior sales staff.
- Represent the firm at networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
- Prepare regular reports and sales forecasts for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- MBA (Sales/Marketing/Business Development) from a recognized institute (mandatory).
- Additional certifications such as Strategic Sales Management, Certified Sales Leader (CSL), or related advanced training are a strong advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in consulting, enterprise services, or business advisory domains.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and managing client relationships at CXO levels.
- Experience in managing or mentoring a sales team is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of consultative/solution selling techniques.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
